This course provides a clear understanding of agency practice and policy issues including agency disclosure and other types of disclosures required by state and federal law. Participants will also learn how to comply with New York State's new Advertising Regulations and with NAR's Code of Ethics in all forms of advertising. This course is taught by practicing real estate attorneys using real-life scenarios and cases. Zoom Zoom Garfinkel, Neil B. Neil B. Garfinkel, Esq. is managing partner of Abrams Garfinkel Margolis Bergson, LLP, and is in charge of the Real Estate and Banking Practices, focusing on all aspects of commercial and residential real estate and banking law. He serves as Broker Counsel to the Real Estate Board of New York (“REBNY”), NYC’s leading real estate trade association. In addition to counseling REBNY members on laws and regulations that affect the real estate brokerage community, he hosts the REBNY Legal Line, a hotline provided exclusively for REBNY members, and authors the REBNY Legal Line Question of the Week and Fair Housing Fridays.
