DescriptionLocationInstructors Fair Housing: Getting Up Close and Personal (2 Hours FH) Fair housing is more than knowing the protected classes. It requires real estate professionals to understand how fair housing laws, ethical obligations, everyday practices, and individual biases can affect the people they serve. This three-hour course takes an in-depth look at fair housing from both the practical and broader legal perspectives. Participants will review essential fair housing practices, related provisions of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, and strategies for reducing legal risk while providing professional and equitable service. The course will also examine HUD guidance regarding service animals, reasonable accommodations, and reasonable modifications. $40.00 for Members. Provides 2 Hours NYS Fair Housing CE credit hours.
