Understanding building techniques and styles can assist appraisers and agents establishing when a house was actually built instead of relying on tax records, etc. We will discuss why these things are important to the appraiser, agent, sell and buyer. Students will discuss style, form, structure, and neighborhoods of the American House. Time periods will then be discussed and the key architectural features of each period.
